Investigating the Sterile Neutrino Parameters with QLC in 3 + 1 Scenario

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
In the scenario with four generation quarks and leptons and using a 3 + 1 neutrino model having one sterile and the three standard active neutrinos with a 4 × 4 unitary transformation matrix, UPMNS4, we perform a model‐based analysis using the latest global data and determine bounds on the sterile neutrino parameters i.e., the neutrino mixing angles ...

Emergent neutrinos from heavy messengers

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Fermionic bound states (mesinos) of messengers can play the role of right-handed neutrinos and due to their heavy masses they can realize the seesaw mechanism providing light and heavy sterile neutrinos.

Constraining the Effective Mass of Majorana Neutrino with Sterile Neutrino Mass for Inverted Ordering Spectrum

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
Inspired by the experimental anomalies in neutrino physics and recent oscillation data from short baseline and another neutrino experiment, the realization of one extra neutrino flavor seems to be favoring. This extra flavor may change the observable, |mββ|, of current data taking and next‐generation (ββ) 0ν‐decay experiments aim to probe and possibly ...

Heavy Sterile Neutrino in Dark Matter Searches

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
Sterile neutrinos are possible dark matter candidates. We examine here possible detection mechanisms, assuming that the neutrino has a mass of about 50 keV and couples to the ordinary neutrino. Even though this neutrino is quite heavy, it is nonrelativistic with a maximum kinetic energy of 0.1 eV.

Heavy neutral leptons — Advancing into the PeV domain

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) are hypothetical particles able to explain neutrino oscillations and provide a mechanism for generating the baryon asymmetry of the Universe.

Two Micron‐Size Dark Dimensions

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract Two extra dimensions of micron scale might simultaneously address the gauge and cosmological hierarchy problems. In this paper various observational bounds in scenarios with one and two large extra dimensions are examined, to see if they are compatible with the micron scale.

Long‐Baseline Oscillation Experiments as a Tool to Probe High Energy Flavor Symmetry Models

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
We review the current status of neutrino oscillation experiments, mainly focusing on T2(H)K, NOνA, and DUNE. Their capability to probe high energy physics is found in the precision measurement of the CP phase and θ23. In general, neutrino mass models predict correlations among the mixing angles that can be used to scan and shrink their parameter space.

Searching for the Minimal Seesaw Models at the LHC and Beyond

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
The existence of the tiny neutrino mass and the flavor mixing can be naturally explained by type I Seesaw model which is probably the simplest extension of the Standard Model (SM) using Majorana type SM gauge singlet heavy Right Handed Neutrinos (RHNs).

The geometric νSMEFT: operators and connections

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We write down a geometric realization of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) extended by n f flavours of light sterile neutrinos, a so-called geoνSMEFT.

Singlet Fermion Assisted Dominant Seesaw with Lepton Flavor and Number Violations and Leptogenesis

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
Embedding type I seesaw in GUTs, left‐right gauge theories, or even in extensions of the SM requires large right‐handed neutrino masses making the neutrino mass generation mechanism inaccessible for direct experimental tests. This has been circumvented by introducing additional textures or high degree of fine‐tuning in the Dirac neutrino or right ...
