Testing Heavy Neutral Leptons in Cosmic Ray Beam Dump experiments
In this work, we discuss the possibility to test Heavy Neutral Leptons (HNLs) using “Cosmic Ray Beam Dump” experiments. In analogy with terrestrial beam dump experiments, where a beam first hits a target and is then absorbed by a shield, we consider high-

Nearly degenerate heavy sterile neutrinos in cascade decay: Mixing and oscillations [PDF]
Some extensions beyond the Standard Model propose the existence of nearly degenerate heavy sterile neutrinos. If kinematically allowed these can be resonantly produced and decay in a cascade to common final states. The common decay channels lead to mixing of the heavy sterile neutrino states and interference effects.

Radiative Majorana neutrino masses in a parity solution to the strong CP problem
The strong CP problem is solved in Parity symmetric theories, with the electroweak gauge group containing SU(2) L × SU(2) R broken by the minimal set of Higgs fields. Neutrino masses may be explained by adding the same number of gauge singlet fermions as

Supernovae and sterile neutrinos
Motivated by the recent hints for sterile neutrinos from reactor anomalies, we discuss active-sterile conversions in an electron-capture supernova using a (2 active + 1 sterile) scenario.

Constraining the SMEFT extended with sterile neutrinos at FCC-ee
We investigate how extensions of the Standard Model (SM) involving heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) can be probed at FCC-ee, the proposed high-energy circular e + e − collider.

International audienceWe address the phenomenology of light sterile neutrinos, with an emphasis on short-baseline neutrino oscillations. After reviewing the observed short-baseline neutrino oscillation anomalies, we discuss the global fit of the data and

Sterile neutrinos in string derived models [PDF]
The MiniBooNE collaboration recently reported further evidence for the existence of sterile neutrinos, implying substantial mixing with the left-handed active neutrinos and at a comparable mass scale.

Long-lived HNLs via ALP portal at the LHC
Heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) and axion-like particles (ALPs) are both considered well-motivated candidates for beyond the standard model (BSM) physics. If ALPs with sizable couplings to gluons exist, they will be abundantly produced at the LHC. Therefore,
