Incidence of Unintended Pregnancy after Laparoscopic Tubal Sterilization at Dr.Sardjito Hospital [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Background:  Laparoscopic tubal ligation is one of the most commonly performed sterilization procedures and has many advantages such as high success rate and early return to normal activity.

Assessing the Barriers to Postpartum Tubal Ligation Among Multiparous Women

open access: yesCureus, 2022
Background: Unmet demands for postpartum tubal ligation are estimated to be greater than the actual number of tubal ligations done, especially in low-resource settings.

Laparoscopic Management of Ectopic Pregnancy Occurring Ten Years After Tubal Sterilization

open access: yesGynecology Obstetrics & Reproductive Medicine, 2009
Ectopic pregnancy is still one of the leading causes of maternal mortality. Due to the popularity of elective sterilization procedures, the incidence of ectopic pregnancies following tubal sterilization began to increase in recent years and post ...

Robust Low-Tubal-rank tensor recovery Using Discrete Empirical Interpolation Method with Optimized Slice/Feature Selection [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
In this paper, we extend the Discrete Empirical Interpolation Method (DEIM) to the third-order tensor case based on the t-product and use it to select important/ significant lateral and horizontal slices/features. The proposed Tubal DEIM (TDEIM) is investigated both theoretically and numerically. The experimental results show that the TDEIM can provide

Right Ampullary Ectopic Pregnancy Following Bilateral Tubal Ligation Using Spring Clips. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Pregnancy is unlikely to occur in women who have undergone sterilization. However when it occurs, there is a substantial risk that it will be an ectopic pregnancy.

Ultra‐Effective Light‐Activated Antibacterial Activity via Carboxyl Functionalized Graphene Quantum Dots and Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Carboxyl‐functionalized graphene quantum dots (cGQDs) exhibit high singlet oxygen quantum yield due to strong spin–orbit coupling. cGQDs achieve minimum bactericidal concentration of only 0.4 µg mL−1 against S. aureus under low‐intensity illumination.
