SuFEx‐Enabled Reprogramming of Flavonoids for Selective α‐Glucosidase Covalent Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective inhibition of intestinal α‐glucosidase remains limited by poor enzyme specificity and off‐target metabolic effects. Here, SuFEx click chemistry is used to reprogram natural flavonoids into covalent inhibitors with enhanced α‐glucosidase selectivity and controlled reactivity. This strategy enables effective regulation of carbohydrate digestion

Robust Amorphous MOF‐Based Aerogels Digital Biosensor for Sensitive Detection of Organophosphate Pesticides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a robust aerogel digital biosensor by integrating an enzyme‐mediated amorphous MOF within an aerogel matrix for on‐site pesticide detection. The enzyme‐mediated assembly strategy enables in situ tailoring of MOF into a porous amorphous structure, achieving both high stability and activity.

Water‐Enabled Ultralong Full‐Color Organic Phosphorescence in Hydrogen‐Bonded Frameworks for 4D Encryption and Bio‐Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Water‐induced quenching challenges organic RTP materials, but a counter‐intuitive strategy employs HOF to encapsulate carbonyl guests, where water functions as a structural reinforcer. This achieves water‐enhanced ultralong RTP with full‐color emission (blue to deep red), overcoming intracellular quenching for high‐signal cellular imaging, alongside 4D

Presence of manubrium–sternum joint doesn't assure sufficient elevation of sternum in Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum patients [PDF]

open access: yes
香川大学Kagawa University博士(医学)Background: The manubrium and body of the sternum are connected by the manubrium-sternum joint (MSJ). In performing the Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum patients, the body of the sternum is elevated as the operator flips ...

Research Note: A deep learning method segments chicken keel bones from whole-body X-ray images

open access: yesPoultry Science
: Most commercial laying hens suffer from sternum (keel) bone damage including deviations and fractures. X-raying hens, followed by segmenting and assessing the keel bone, is a key to automating the monitoring of keel bone condition.
