Targeting Adipose Tissue Function Protects Against Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction
This study explores the role adipose tissue (AT) phenotypes have in determining cardiovascular outcomes in an obesity‐related heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) model. Pharmacological induction of thermogenesis promoted resilience to HFpEF‐induced remodeling of AT and conferred cardioprotection. Surgical and genetic models confirmed

This study identifies CD74⁺ macrophages as key drivers of synovial inflammation in osteoarthritis (OA). The flavonoid luteolin is predicted to inhibit this pathway by blocking Nuclear Factor Kappa‐light‐chain‐enhancer of Activated B cells (NF‐κB) signaling. To enhance delivery, a targeted nanoplatform (MDSPL) is developed.

TREM2 recognizes NETs‐derived MPO to promote DC maturation and antigen presentation, thereby exacerbating the autoimmune response in SLE. Mechanistically, TREM2 activation triggers the DAP12/SYK/ERK cascade and enhances NETs internalization by DCs, which in turn activates the cGAS/STING signaling pathway.

Severe Pulmonary Involvement in Leptospirosis : Alternate antibiotics and systemic steroids
Pulmonary complications in leptospirosis, though common, are often unrecognized in a non-endemic area. We report here a patient with leptospirosis and severe pulmonary involvement who was treated with meropenem (1 g every 8 hours), moxifloxacin (400 mg ...
