Evaluating the involvement of autolysosomes in the nuclear translocation of fluorescent proteins
Endogenously expressed fluorescent proteins can be degraded by autophagy and transported to cell nuclei via the nuclear pore complex. But in some cell lines, for example, HeLa cells which are positive for immunoreactivity of a receptor ligand, such as UCN I, in cell nuclei, fusion of autolysosome with the nuclear envelope is involved in the nuclear ...

Light Localization and Stimulated Emission in InGaN/GaN Nanocolumns [PDF]
We report the dependence of stimulated emission phenomena on randomness in a collection of regularly arranged InGaN/GaN nanocolumns. By comparing the stimulated emission behavior for two samples with different degrees of randomness, we found that ...

AMMONIA MOLECULAR BEAM EPITAXY OF AlGaN HETEROSTRUCTURES ON SAPPHIRE SUBSTRATES
In order to develop a technology for the growth of Al(Ga)N-based heterostructures, the effect of different molecular beam epitaxy growth conditions on the properties of AlN and AlGaN layers was studied. The optimal conditions for the growth of AlN buffer

We describe detailed protocols for the purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 (MpARF2). This protein is fused to an MBP solubility tag and an mNG fluorescent tag and is purified from Escherichia coli. The presented procedures make it possible to study MpARF2 assemblies, which could arise from phase separation ...

Morphology-Dependent Stimulated Emission and Field Emission of Ordered CdS Nanostructure Arrays [PDF]
Highly ordered CdS nanostructure arrays were successfully fabricated via a simple two-step metal-organic chemical vapor deposition process. Both stimulated emission and field-emission measurements were carried out in an attempt to understand the ...
