Broadband Coherent Raman Scattering Spectroscopy at 50,000,000 Spectra per Second
Raman scattering spectroscopy is widely used as an analytical technique in various fields, but its measurement process tends to be slow due to the low scattering cross-section.

Programmable hydration pathways enable reconfigurable ionic thermoelectrics in polyquaternium hydrogels. By coupling microscopic solvation, mesoscale water channels, and macroscopic boundary control, hydration‐gated protonics decouples thermopower, response speed, and stability.

Period-doubling bifurcations in stimulated Raman scattering
We have studied two aspects of chaotic behavior in stimulated Raman scattering. The route to chaos in this nonlinear optical process has been shown to be period-doubling bifurcations.

Reinforcing Oxygen Activation of Spinel Oxide via Mn─O Covalency Engineering for VOCs Oxidation
A MnCo spinel catalyst with weakened Mn─O covalency was synthesized via a hard‐template method. The reduced Mn─O covalency facilitates localized electron redistribution, promoting the activation of both molecular oxygen and lattice oxygen, and thereby enabling the efficient and complete oxidation of VOCs (ethyl acetate, toluene, and propane).

Stimulated X-Ray Raman Scattering with Free-Electron Laser Sources
Stimulated electronic x-ray Raman scattering is the building block for several proposed x-ray pump probe techniques, that would allow the study of electron dynamics at unprecedented timescales.

Electrochemical Modulation of Laser‐Induced Covalent Functionalization of Graphene
Photoelectrochemical functionalization of graphene introduces the electrochemical potential as an additional parameter for the laser‐induced covalent modification of graphene. Tuning of the potential allows for amplification or suppression of the functionalization reaction with constant laser parameters, which enables in situ Raman analysis of ...

Stimulated Electronic X-Ray Raman Scattering
We demonstrate strong stimulated inelastic x-ray scattering by resonantly exciting a dense gas target of neon with femtosecond, high-intensity x-ray pulses from an x-ray free-electron laser (XFEL).

The weakly‐solvating TFMSPyr electrolyte tailors the Li+ solvation structure by suppressing solvent coordination and promoting anion‐dominated solvation. This unique solvation environment induces preferential anion decomposition at electrode interfaces, forming robust inorganic rich S/CEI.
