Exploiting Multi-Level Parallelism for Stitching Very Large Microscopy Images

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroinformatics, 2019
Due to the limited field of view of the microscopes, acquisitions of macroscopic specimens require many parallel image stacks to cover the whole volume of interest.

Internal structure of structurally stitched NCF preform [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The paper addresses the experimental investigation of the unit cell architecture in a structurally stitched multilayer carbon-fibre preform. Each layer is a multiaxial multiply non-crimp fabric (NCF) knit with a non-structural stitching.

Dual-fisheye lens stitching for 360-degree imaging

open access: yes, 2017
Dual-fisheye lens cameras have been increasingly used for 360-degree immersive imaging. However, the limited overlapping field of views and misalignment between the two lenses give rise to visible discontinuities in the stitching boundaries.

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Automatic Hypercube Acquisition with high spatial and spectral resolution using a HSI Linescan Camera

open access: yesCurrent Directions in Biomedical Engineering, 2021
Push-broom HSI-cameras have a high spectral resolution but require scanning and stitching to get a correct spatial and spectral representation of a scene.

Utilization of Merge-Sorting Method to Improve Stitching Efficiency in Multi-Scene Image Stitching

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
Aiming at the problem of single stitching scenes (ordered or disordered images), which are time-consuming and involve complex computation during the image stitching, a multi-scene image stitching method based on merge sorting is proposed called merge ...
