Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

Reformulations avec et sans marqueurs : étude de trois entretiens de l’oral

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2018
La communication porte sur l’analyse des reformulations produites dans le discours oral. La reformulation est prise au sens large en tant que procédé de modification d’un segment par un autre mais elle garde toujours un lien sous-jacent entre les deux ...

Gait Analysis of Pak Biawak: A Necrobot Lizard Built using the Skeleton of an Asian Water Monitor (Varanus Salvator)

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Pak Biawak, a necrobot, embodies an unusual fusion of biology and robotics. Designed to repurpose natural structures after death, it challenges conventional boundaries between nature and engineering. Its movements are precise yet unsettling, raising questions about sustainability, ethics, and the untapped potential of biointegrated machines.

Grip and Grasp: Lizard Claw Inspired Robotic Manipulators

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Our study identifies the most effective lizard claw shape for use as an end effector in a bioinspired robotic manipulator. By examining key geometric features and combining them into comparative indices, the Crotaphytus collaris claw is found to be the best fit.

Elderspeak revisited: Cross-cultural insights from French and Chinese nursing homes

open access: yesLanguage and Health
This study aims to offer a more nuanced examination of elderspeak, which most research on elderly care communication considers to have a negative effect on the dignity of older adults. To do this, we drew on data collected in two very different countries/

A Degradable Bioinspired Flier with Aerogel‐Based Colorimetric Sensors for Environmental Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biodegradable fliers are developed inspired by Tipuana tipu samaras, integrating cellulose nanocrystal aerogel (CNCa) sensors loaded with natural dyes for pH and ammonia detection. The lightweight, degradable fliers mimic natural morphology and aerodynamics, offering an eco‐friendly, scalable solution for in situ environmental monitoring after passive ...

A Biomarker‐Driven Ovary–Endometrium Organ‐on‐a‐Chip Mimicking 3D Multicellular Complexity and Menstrual Cyclicity for Predicting Reproductive Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.
