A ROBUST BI-OBJECTIVE UNCERTAIN GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK MANAGEMENT [PDF]
Conflicting objectives becomes a common issue in many supply chain network optimization problems. In this paper, a new model is formulated to design a green supply chain network through a new mixed integer linear programming problem.

Multistage Stochastic Integer Programs
We consider linear multistage stochastic integer programs and study their functional and dynamic programming formulations as well as conditions for optimality and stability of solutions. Furthermore, we study the application of the Rockafellar-Wets dualization approach as well as the structure and algorithmic potential of corresponding dual problems ...

A study of progressive hedging for stochastic integer programming
AbstractMotivated by recent literature demonstrating the surprising effectiveness of the heuristic application of progressive hedging (PH) to stochastic mixed-integer programming (SMIP) problems, we provide theoretical support for the inclusion of integer variables, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

A Location Problem of Fast Charging Stations Considering Congestion [PDF]
This paper considers locating congested fast charging stations (FCSs) and deploying chargers in a stochastic environment, while the related studies have predominantly focused on problems in deterministic environments. Reducing the inconvenience caused by

Generation of Probabilistic Bits by Exploiting Orthogonal Spin Currents in Magnetic Trilayers
Fe/Ti/CoFeB trilayers generate orthogonal spin currents that drive stochastic spin–orbit‐torque switching for probabilistic‐bit operation. The switching probability is continuously controlled by the in‐plane magnetic field and drive current, enabling tunable random bit generation.
