Chaotic expansion in the G-expectation space [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
In this paper, we are motivated by uncertainty problems in volatility. We prove the equivalent theorem of Wiener chaos with respect to \(G\)-Brownian motion in the framework of a sublinear expectation space.

Three phosphatase families form a community: The phosphohydrolases that act upon inositol pyrophosphates

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Quantum stochastic calculus with maximal operator domains. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Quantum stochastic calculus is extended in a new formulation in which its stochastic integrals achieve their natural and maximal domains. Operator adaptedness, conditional expectations and stochastic integrals are all defined simply in terms of the ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

The Range of Stochastic Integration

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 1978
Every measurable real-valued function $f$ on the space of Wiener process paths with $E(|f|^p) < \infty$ (where $0 < p < 1$) can be represented as a stochastic integral $f = \int \varphi dX$, where $E(\int \varphi^2(t)dt)^{p/2} < \infty$. A similar result holds for $1 < p < \infty$ if and only if $E(f) = 0$.

Efficient discretization of stochastic integrals [PDF]

open access: yesFinance and Stochastics, 2013
Sharp asymptotic lower bounds of the expected quadratic variation of discretization error in stochastic integration are given. The theory relies on inequalities for the kurtosis and skewness of a general random variable which are themselves seemingly new. Asymptotically efficient schemes which attain the lower bounds are constructed explicitly.

Small RNA pathways in mammalian oocytes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Three distinct small RNA pathways operate in mammalian oocytes: RNAi interference (RNAi), the microRNA (miRNA) pathway, and the PIWI‐associated RNA (piRNA) pathway. These pathways use small RNAs to guide sequence‐specific repression and contribute to oocyte biology by targeting genes and mobile elements or appear insignificant since different ...

Square-Mean Asymptotically Almost Automorphic Mild Solutions to a Class of Semi-linear Stochastic Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology, 2022
The applications of the theories of square-mean almost automorphic type functions have attracted more and more attention by mathematics researchers, square-mean asymptotically almost automorphic solutions of this class of differential equations have a ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.
