Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF THE MICRO-SIMULATION APPROACH TO ANALYSIS OF RESIDENTIAL MOBILITY
Over the last 20 years, urban micro-simulation models have been the focus of much research. The advent of big data and the solid theoretical base represented by random utility theory, consumer theory and operationalized by discrete choice models seemed ...

A Maximum Entropy Estimator for the Aggregate Hierarchical Logit Model
A new approach for estimating the aggregate hierarchical logit model is presented. Though usually derived from random utility theory assuming correlated stochastic errors, the model can also be derived as a solution to a maximum entropy problem.

Turbulence in the interstellar medium [PDF]
Turbulence is ubiquitous in the insterstellar medium and plays a major role in several processes such as the formation of dense structures and stars, the stability of molecular clouds, the amplification of magnetic fields, and the re-acceleration and ...

AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Super‐Resolution Ultrasound Based Cell Tracking With Polymeric Nanobubbles
This study presents a super‐resolution ultrasound platform for tracking cells in vivo. Biocompatible polymeric nanobubbles are used as highly echogenic intracellular labels. Following the injection of cells and microbubbles, ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) can dynamically match the microvascular architecture and individual cell trajectories ...

Oppositely charged single enzyme nanogels (SENs) phase‐separate into bi‐enzymatic coacervate microdroplets, acting as both scaffold and functional units. By tuning SEN ratios, these coacervates create specific microenvironments that enable selective small‐molecule enrichment and efficient intermediate diffusion.

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...

A Stochastic approach for Radiative Exchange in Enclosures with Non Participating Medium
A stochastic method is developed for calculating radiation interchange in enclosures with a finite number of isothermal surfaces but without a participating medium. Different types of surface properties are considered.
