Performance and Robustness Analysis of Stochastic Jump Linear Systems using Wasserstein metric
This paper focuses on the performance and the robustness analysis of stochastic jump linear systems. The state trajectory under stochastic jump process becomes random variables, which brings forth the probability distributions in the system state ...

Quasi‐Static to Supersonic Energy Absorption of Nanoarchitected Tubulanes and Schwarzites
Nanoarchitected energy‐absorptive Tubulanes exhibit record energy absorption under quasi‐static conditions and exceptional inelastic energy dissipation under 750 m s−1 ballistics impact, with high performance spanning strain rates of 12 orders of magnitude.

Large deviation asymptotics for busy periods
The busy period for a queue is cast as the area swept under the random walk until it first returns to zero. Encompassing non-i.i.d. increments, the large-deviations asymptotics of the busy period B is addressed, under the assumption that the increments ...

This study introduces VIVID (Vesicle In Vivo Identification using DNA), a qPCR‐based platform that tracks PCR‐amplifiable DNA tags loaded in the EVs for accurate and quantifiable EV biodistribution in vivo. ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) represent promising carriers for nucleic acid therapeutics, offering advantages over synthetic nanoparticles ...

Giant component in random multipartite graphs with given degree sequences
We study the problem of the existence of a giant component in a random multipartite graph. We consider a random multipartite graph with p parts generated according to a given degree sequence ndi(n), n≥1 which denotes the number of vertices in part i of ...

In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Deciphering Small Molecule Diffusion Parameters Across Light Responsive Polymersome Membranes
Light‐responsive polymersomes bearing donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASAs) enable programmable control over small‐molecule transport across synthetic membranes. By systematically varying DASA density, an optimal functionalization regime is identified that maximizes light‐gated permeability.

Randomized assignment of jobs to servers in heterogeneous clusters of shared servers for low delay
We consider the problem of assignning jobs to servers in a multi-server system consisting of N parallel processor sharing servers, categorized into M (≪N) different types according to their processing capacities or speeds.
