Dynamic Fluorescence Modulation via Light‐Driven Competitive Protonation

A two‐component molecular system demonstrates reversible, light‐driven fluorescence write–erase cycling and thermal imaging. Illumination of a merocyanine photoacid transfers a proton to a highly efficient fluorescent pyridinium dye, switching its emission color; thermal relaxation reverses the process in the dark.

Attaching selective reflectors to the edges of a luminescent solar concentrator containing two different fluorescent dyes makes it possible to parse the incident white light spectrum into two separate edge emission wavelengths. An Anti‐Amyloidogenic Approach to Specifically Block Memory Consolidation in Mice for Therapeutic Intervention

Functional amyloid conversion of the translation regulator CPEB3 is essential for long‐term memory persistence. This study demonstrates that targeting this molecular switch with the anti‐amyloidogenic peptide QBP1 selectively blocks CPEB3 fibrillation without disrupting phase separation.
