Evaluating the precision and velocity of factory vs. handloaded lead‐free ammunition

We compared the precision and velocities of factory and handloaded lead‐free rifle ammunition across 19 combinations, including bullets not found in factory options. Handloaded bullets rarely demonstrated better precision than factory ammunition, although some options not available in factory loads showed greater precision.
