ABSTRACT A 25‐year‐old male with cerebral palsy presented with sigmoid volvulus complicated by ischemia and fecal impaction—an underrecognized but serious risk in this population. Emergency Paul‐Mikulicz colostomy achieved safe resection. Clinicians should suspect volvulus early in CP patients, and proactive bowel management is essential.

Pyloric Pseudonecrosis Caused by Biliary Peritonitis: A Rare Intraoperative Pitfall

ABSTRACT Biliary peritonitis can cause subserosal bile staining that mimics pyloric or duodenal necrosis. When endoscopy or ICG fluorescence is unavailable, pseudonecrosis remains an operative diagnosis of exclusion, supported by preserved serosal integrity, absence of visible perforation, careful inspection, and uneventful 1‐month follow‐up.
