CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Some aspects of statistical causality
Causal thinking is deeply embedded in scientific understanding of the problems of applied statistics. This can not always be done by experiments and the researcher is restricted to observing the system he wants to describe.

Non-inertial stopping characteristics of a prototype pump
The characteristics of centrifugal pump in non-inertial stopping period have not been studied better by far. In this article, the variation characteristics of transient performance of a prototype pump are clarified experimentally in five non-inertial ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

How Long Does It Take to Stop? Are Children Able to Stop on Demand?
Children’s physical and cognitive development plays a crucial role in their ability to react appropriately in dynamic traffic situations. One key aspect of traffic safety is the ability to stop movement quickly and accurately after receiving a stop ...

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Density functional theory to study stopping power of proton in water, lung, bladder, and intestine
Stopping power, range, and time of proton in water, lung, bladder, and intestinal human tissues are calculated using density functional theory and Beth’s relativistic equation in range of proton energy (0.01–1,000 MeV).
