Mullins' effect and the strain amplitude dependence of the storage modulus
International Journal of Solids and Structures, 1992A micromechanically based continuum damage model for carbon black filled elastomers exhibiting Mullins' effect is extended to incorporate viscous response within the framework of a theory of viscoelasticity which includes the classical BKZ model as a particular case and is not restricted to isotropy.

Comparison between T2 Relaxation Time and Storage Modulus for Agarose Gel
2013 39th Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference, 2013The objective of this study is to evaluate the correlations between the quantitative MRI parameter, T2 relaxation time, and the viscoelastic storage modulus for low concentrations of agarose gel. T2 values were determined from MR image maps generated by a 3T scanner. The storage modulus was measured by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA).

Dental Materials, 2002
The goal of this study was to evaluate the potential for using dynamic mechanical analysis of tubular geometry in a three-point flexure fixture for monitoring the storage modulus development of a light-activated polymer matrix composite.Composite samples were inserted into PTFE tubes and tested in a three-point bend fixture in a dynamic mechanical ...

Rheology of PVC Plastisol—V: Storage Modulus and Network Formed by Particle Contact
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2002Our previous work with PVC plastisols showed that pseudo-plastic behavior under increasing frequency of dynamic measurement was a result of the development of an immobilized layer. Subsequently, the dynamic viscosity and the storage modulus of the mobile phase were evaluated.

Storage Modulus and Surface Morphology of Poly(vinyl alcohol)/Alumina Hybrid Hydrogels
Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2002AbstractThe storage moduli, shear moduli and surface morphologies of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and alumina hybrid hydrogels were investigated. The storage moduli of hybrid hydrogels with higher alumina contents were found to be 1.5 times higher than those of PVA gels.

A temperature-dependent storage modulus model for filler-dispersed PEG/silica composites
Composites Part B: Engineering, 2019Abstract In this study, a temperature-dependent storage modulus model is described and then implemented in polyethylene glycol (PEG)/silica composite systems. The study began by investigating the performance of four available models in predicting the storage modulus as a function of the temperature.

Peculiar frequency dependence of the storage modulus in a plastic disperse system
Food Research International, 2004Abstract The frequency dependence of the storage modulus in a plastic fat was determined from stress sweeps at different frequencies, using a fresh sample at each frequency, rather than from the standard frequency sweeps at a fixed stress or strain.

A New Temperature-Dependent Storage Modulus Model of Epoxy Resin
Temperature-dependent dynamic mechanical properties of epoxy resin were studied by dynamic mechanical analysis. A new temperature-dependent storage modulus model was developed to describe the storage modulus of epoxy resin for multi-transition regions from cryogenics to elevated temperatures.Jiemin Feng, Zhansheng Guo

Enhanced Frank elasticity and storage modulus in a diamagnetic liquid crystalline ferrogel
Soft Matter, 2011Combining the magnetic properties of metal particles and the orientational anisotropy of a liquid crystal has been of interest owing to potential technological and bioengineering applications. The target is to achieve the ferromagnetic state while retaining the fluid environment of a nematic liquid crystal (NLC).

AbstractThe effects of temperature, molecular weight and its distribution, side chain branching, and the structure of polymers on the elastic behavior of bulk homopolymers were investigated, by using logarithmic plots of first normal stress difference (N1) against shear stress (σ12) and logarithmic plots of storage modulus (G′) against loss modulus (G″)
