The Effect of Irradiation on Rheological and Electrical Properties of Collagen
This paper describes the effects of irradiation on the rheological and electrical properties of a 7.7% mass fraction of native bovine collagen in water. The radiation dose was in the range of 0 - 500 Gy.

4D Printing of Self‐Immolative Polymers
The integration of self‐immolative polymers (SIPs) into light‐based 3D printed structures is presented as a new “living” 4D printing strategy. By exploiting their metastability and stimuli‐responsiveness, SIP‐containing printed objects can undergo rapid and triggered degrowth under ambient conditions and subsequent regrowth through polymer ...

Damping in magnetorheological elastomers under compressive stress
Magnetorheological elastomers are an important area of study in non-classical engineering materials. These are smart materials, in which some of the physical properties are dependent on the applied magnetic field.

Interconnected Porous Hydrogels with Tunable Anisotropy Through Aqueous Emulsion Bioprinting
A 3D bioprintable microporous bioink is developed using an aqueous two‐phase system (ATPS) composed of extracellular matrix (ECM) mimetic biopolymers. The ATPS bioink enables the fabrication of interconnected porous architectures with up to 70% porosity, supporting long‐term cell viability and 3D cell alignment, enabling a simultaneous generation of ...

Electrochemically Driven Dissipative Growth of Affinity Hydrogels for Bioresponsive Interfaces
Voltage pulses drive the growth and reinforcement of hydrogel films under dissipative conditions. This biocompatible strategy enables efficient integration of affinity ligands into the hydrogel matrix, enhancing the selective capture of growth factors and allowing precise temporal control over their release, making them well‐suited as adaptive ...

Optical microelastography via a 2D boundary condition-free nonlinear inversion approach
The mechanical phenotype of a cell, including its viscoelastic properties, is recognized as a label-free biomarker for diagnosing cellular states. Optical microelastography (OME) assesses intracellular mechanical heterogeneity by mapping the shear ...
