Background. Due to its simplicity and good reproducibility, SDS-electrophoresis of seed proteins is widely used for investigating the gene pool of legumes and other plants, for species and varietal identification, analyzing the intraspecific variability,

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

In vitro starch binding experiments: Study of the proteins related to grain hardness of wheat [PDF]
Two friabilin components, puroindoline a and GSP-1 were expressed in Escherichia coli. Starch binding properties of the recombinant polypeptides and of friabilin extracted from wheat flour were compared in vitro. The produced proteins as well as native

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Effects of storage temperature on airway exosome integrity for diagnostic and functional analyses
Background: Extracellular vesicles contain biological molecules specified by cell-type of origin and modified by microenvironmental changes. To conduct reproducible studies on exosome content and function, storage conditions need to have minimal impact ...

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Changes in protein pattern during different developmental stages of somatic embryos in chickpea
Mature embryonic axes were used for chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) regeneration via somatic embryogenesis. Qualitative and quantitative estimation of protein profile during somatic embryogenesis by SDS-PAGE and densitometric analysis showed differential ...
