Stored grain compaction factor: accurate factors are necessary because volume measurements will not give exact measure of grain [PDF]
It is well known that grain undergoes compression when subjected to cumulative weight exerted from the overlying material in a storage unit. The extent of compression depends on several factors associated with the stored materials (crop type, test weight,

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

Current Threats Of Rodents and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for Stored Grain and Malting Barley
Synanthropic rodents belong to the worldwide dominant vertebrate pests occurring in agricultural and food industry environment. Rodents have enormous potential to cause multiple damages to human resources by feeding on crops and stored commodities and by

Grain storage management : guide for keeping your grain in top condition (1989) [PDF]
"New 1/89/2M."Storage fungi can cause serious losses in stored grain. They are the cause, not the result, of spoilage. Bin burning, mustiness and heating are often associated with storage molds. In wheat, germ damage or "sick" wheat can occur.

Indian Meal Moth Survivability in Stored Corn With Different Levels of Broken Kernels [PDF]
Survivability of Indian meal moth, Plodia interpunctella (Hübner) (Lepi-doptera: Pyralidae), larvae fed a standard laboratory diet and whole corn with 0, 5 to 7, and 100% broken corn kernels, was assessed under laboratory conditions at 28o C, 65 ...

New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...
