Frequency and Severity of Allergic Reactions to Non‐Mandatory Labelled Allergenic Foods—Data From Two Large European Cohorts

In two large European cohorts, 589 reactions to non‐mandatory labelled plant‐based foods were identified with sunflower seed, pine nut, pea and lentil as the most frequent triggers. BloomTree: Dynamic Coloring Techniques for Exploring Deep and Wide Tree Structures

Abstract This study introduces BloomTree, an interactive Sunburst system for visualizing massive hierarchical datasets, such as the Tree of Life. Traditional static color schemes fail to maintain perceptual distinguishability when applied to millions of nodes, and managing the full tree in memory is computationally costly.

Metabarcoding of Pollen Carried by Syrphids Reveals Novel Plant–Pollinator Interactions in a Protected Natural Area and Agricultural Sites

Using DNA metabarcoding, this study investigates pollen transported by syrphids (Syrphidae) in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and agricultural sites in Northern Italy. The analysis reveals a high diversity of visited plant taxa, including previously undocumented plant–pollinator interactions.
