Using UG Software Straight Bevel Gear 3D Modeling

2010 International Conference on E-Product E-Service and E-Entertainment, 2010
Abstract-This article describes a modeling method of the involute bevel gear, by using a modeling function of a UG software. It is included, the creation of the equational expression of the gear outline involute at the unfurling plane of the bevel gear, the formation of the section drawing of the large diameter area and the groove of the small diameter,

Automation of Technological Preproduction of Straight Bevel Gears

2020
The paper describes an approach to the automated technological preparation for production of straight bevel gears with the localized contact. The flank of the driven gear is a conical involute surface. The contact localization in the gear is achieved by using the modified conical involute surface for the driving gear flank.

Computerized Generation Simulation of Straight Bevel Gears with Tangear

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
In this paper, the generation theory of straight bevel gears with is studied. The movements of machine tool are first analyzed. Based on the meshing theory and differential geometry principle, the mathematic model for the generation of gears is established and the tooth surface equation of straight bevel gears is derived.

The Straight Bevel Gear with Equal Conjugate Curvature

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2010
Inspired from the serious plastic deformation of some gears with heavy power transmission in practical usage in metallurgical industry, we believe that there must exist some kind of gear profile which is most suitable in both the contact and bending fatigue strength.

Analysis of Pericyclic Mechanical Transmission with Straight Bevel Gears

56th AIAA/ASCE/AHS/ASC Structures, Structural Dynamics, and Materials Conference, 2015
A design methodology for a Pericyclic mechanical transmission utilizing straight bevel gears has been presented. By virtue of its very high reduction ratio in a single meshing stage, the pericyclic transmission holds promise for significant transmission weight reduction compared to state-of-the-art concepts.

Design and Generation of Straight Bevel Gears

2019
Straight-tooth bevel gears are the simplest type of bevel gears that can be used for power transmission between intersecting shafts. They are commonly referred to as straight bevel gears, for brevity. Shafts for power transmission with straight bevel gears are usually mounted at a shaft angle of 90°, but straight bevel gears can be designed to work at ...
