[Law of strength ratios in motor conditioned reflexes].

Zhurnal vysshei nervnoi deiatelnosti imeni I P Pavlova, 1981
The analysis of motor conditioned reflexes was done on the base of Pavlovian strength law in experiments on monkeys and dogs. It was found that in normal experimental conditions direct strength relations significantly dominate. In extreme conditions which lower the excitability of the brain, direct strength relations sharply deepen, leading to narcotic

Shear Strength of Tailings with Different Void Ratios

2018
This paper presents a theoretical formulation describing the relationship between shear strength of tailings and their void ratios. The formulation is derived based on the critical state theory of sand. To validate this formulation, a series of laboratory tests, including oedometer and direct shear tests, are carried out on copper and tungsten tailings
