Adaptive Feature Alignment for Adversarial Training [PDF]
Recent studies reveal that Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are typically vulnerable to adversarial attacks, which pose a threat to security-sensitive applications. Many adversarial defense methods improve robustness at the cost of accuracy, raising the contradiction between standard and adversarial accuracies.

Assessment of a medical physics educational program for science teachers
Abstract Introduction Medical physics is a fulfilling profession where physics is applied to advance human health. However, many are uninformed of the role of physicists in medicine, and students are unaware of this career pathway. This study presents a pilot 1‐year program for science teachers to learn about physics in medicine and share with students

Learning Structure and Strength of CNN Filters for Small Sample Size Training [PDF]
Convolutional Neural Networks have provided state-of-the-art results in several computer vision problems. However, due to a large number of parameters in CNNs, they require a large number of training samples which is a limiting factor for small sample size problems.

ABSTRACTObjectiveCerebrospinal fluid (CSF) orexin‐A has been suggested to be a biomarker of Alzheimer disease (AD). In both cognitively unimpaired healthy older adults and individuals with symptomatic AD, CSF orexin‐A is positively associated with CSF Aβ42, p‐tau181, and total tau (t‐tau) concentrations.

MAXIMAL FORCES FOR PEAK HEIGHT AND FLIGHT DISTANCE ON VAULT IN MENS ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS?
Analysing the take-off forces on the vaulting table can help to inform the athlete about the vaulting technique. A measuring device was used to measure the forces during the Artistic World Championships 2019.
