Behavior of Damaged Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with Externally Bonded Steel Plate
Flexural strength and deformation of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with steel plates were studied in this paper. For bonding the steel plate to the beam a technique of welding steel plate to the stirrups was followed. Fifteen beams were cast and

This study uncovers hierarchical coordination between K11 lactylation and S199 phosphorylation of CKB in cerebral ischemia‐reperfusion injury. Such dual modifications potentiate CKB enzymatic function, remodel energy metabolism, alleviate oxidative stress and neuronal damage, and represent a viable therapeutic target for stroke treatment.

STAU2 undergoes phase separation to form dynamic condensates that package target mRNAs and deliver them to the distal ends of growing neuronal dendrites. STAU2 condensates stabilize embedded mRNAs and repress their translation. Synaptic activity bidirectionally remodels STAU2 condensates, coordinating local translation of STAU2‐associated mRNAs ...

Strengthening Reinforced Beams Subjected to Pure Torsion by Near Surface Mounted Rebars
This paper investigates the possibility of strengthening reinforced concrete beams under pure torsion loadings. The torsional behavior of strengthened beams with near-surface mounted steel and CFRP bars was investigated and verified against experimental ...
