A Huge Primary Congenital Splenic Cyst Diagnosed in a Middle‐Aged Female Patient: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
Gross appearance of a splenic cyst showing the smooth external surface (left) and trabeculated inner wall (right). ABSTRACT Splenic cysts are classified into primary (true) and secondary (pseudo or false) cysts. Primary non‐parasitic congenital splenic cysts are comparatively rare, particularly in the middle‐aged population. We present a rare case of a

Generalized Tetanus Associated With Malaria and Probable Meningitis in a 4‐Year‐Old Patient: A Case Report in Limbe Regional Hospital, Cameroon

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Tetanus is a life‐threatening disease preventable by immunization through vaccines. In resource‐limited settings, its association with other acute infections should be managed cautiously. A 4‐year‐old unvaccinated male was referred from a nearby hospital for better management of severe malaria and probable enteric fever, after presenting there

Nanostructured Biosensor Based on Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes and Antimicrobial Peptide Temporin‐PTA for Bacterial Detection

open access: yesElectroanalysis, Volume 37, Issue 10, October 2025.
A nanostructured electrochemical biosensor was developed by assembling MWCNTs with the antimicrobial peptide Temporin‐PTA. The platform enables rapid bacterial detection within 5 min, differentiates Gram‐negative from Gram‐positive pathogens, and achieves a low detection limit of 10 CFU/mL.
