Three transcriptional regulators positively regulate the biosynthesis of polycyclic tetramate macrolactams in Streptomyces xiamenensis 318

Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2019
Polycyclic tetramate macrolactams (PTMs) are a widely distributed class of structurally complex natural products, and most of them exhibit multiple biological activities. However, the transcriptional regulators (TRs) involved in the regulation of PTM production have seldom been reported.

Xiapyrroles A–F: N-Alkylpyrrole Alkaloids from the Marine-Derived Actinomycete Streptomyces xiamenensis 1310KO-148

Journal of Natural Products
Six new N-alkylpyrrole alkaloids (1-6) were isolated from the marine-derived actinomycete Streptomyces xiamenensis 1310KO-148 from a sponge sample. The structures of xiapyrroles A-F (1-6) were elucidated by detailed analysis of extensive spectroscopic data, including 1D, 2D NMR, and HRESIMS data.
