Dynamic constitutive model of Fe–Cr–Ni stainless steel based on isothermal true stress-strain curves
Austenitic Fe–Cr–Ni stainless steel is widely used in aviation, chemistry, energy, due to its excellent properties of high-temperature performance. In this study, the splitting Hopkinson pressure bar with high-temperature system was employed to evaluate ...

Plasticity-Induced Anisotropy in Amorphous Solids: the Bauschinger Effect
Amorphous solids that underwent a strain in one direction such that they responded in a plastic manner `remember' that direction also when relaxed back to a state with zero mean stress.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

A Stress-Strain Model for Brick Prism under Uniaxial Compression
This study proposes a simple and rational stress-strain relationship model applicable to brick masonry under compression. The brick prism compression tests were conducted with different mortar strengths and with constant brick strength.

Stress-strain Relationship for Steel Fiber-reinforced Lightweight Aggregate Concrete under Uniaxial Compression [PDF]
The current study presents a series of tests on steel fiber-reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete (SFRLWAC) cylinders in order to develop a stress-strain model for SFRLWAC subjected to compressive monotonic loading.

A study of the static yield stress in a binary Lennard-Jones glass
The stress-strain relations and the yield behavior of model glass (a 80:20 binary Lennard-Jones mixture) is studied by means of MD simulations. First, a thorough analysis of the static yield stress is presented via simulations under imposed stress ...

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Mechanical behavior of ProTaper Universal F2 finishing file under various curvature conditions: A finite element analysis study [PDF]
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to visualize the stresses and strain distribution patterns in ProTaper Universal F2 files (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) and to establish the stress- and strain-curvature relationship for this ...
