Wedelolactone, a Novel TLR2 Agonist, Promotes Neutrophil Differentiation and Ameliorates Neutropenia: A Multi‐Omics Approach to Unravel the Mechanism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

Hepatocyte Mettl3 Deficiency Drives Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and Liver Fibrosis via Cholangiocyte‐Macrophage Crosstalk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration demonstrating that hepatic Mettl3 depletion significantly elevates the secretion of Mif and Csf1. This elevation facilitates Trem2+ macrophage infiltration and triggers cholangiocyte remodeling through the Spp1‐Cd44 interaction, resulting in spontaneous PSC development in vivo.

Study of microstructure and mechanical properties and residual stresses of 24CrNiMo steel prepared by selective laser melting and laser melting deposition

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
Selective laser melting (SLM) and laser direct metal deposition (LMD) have shown promise in advanced manufacturing. However, limited research fabricating the same material using these methods, particularly regarding mechanical properties and residual ...

Microstructural evolution of heat-treated 316L stainless steel using various etchants [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences
The rapid heating and cooling cycles inherent to laser additive manufacturing result in the accumulation of high residual stress magnitudes that may have an adverse effect on the material's mechanical properties.

Cleavage‐Resistant CYLD Protects Against Autoimmune Hepatitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Proteolytic cleavage of the deubiquitinase CYLD emerges as a critical driver of autoimmune hepatitis. TNFα‐induced CYLD loss in macrophages amplifies S100A9‐triggered MAPK activation, leading to excessive chemokine production and hepatic inflammation. Pharmacological inhibition of MEK signaling effectively attenuates experimental disease, highlighting ...

Powder metallurgical materials and processes for soft magnetic applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
For many designers of electrical machines, the term “soft magnetic materials” automatically means laminated electrical sheet. This is unfortunate, since for many applications, particularly at low frequencies, laminated sheet is rarely the best material ...

Quantitative Proteomics and CRISPR/Cas9 Editing Reveal UPR‐Mediated Control of Immunoglobulin Homeostasis in Hybridomas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
BCR sequencing and subclone analysis correlated immunoglobulin (Ig) chain loss in dysfunctional hybridomas with disrupted monoclonal antibody homeostasis. Proteomics‐guided CRISPR/Cas9 editing revealed that the unfolded protein response (UPR) regulates aberrant Ig synthesis.
