A theoretical review of the operation of vibratory stress relief with particular reference to the stabilization of large-scale fabrications

open access: yes, 2011
Vibratory stress relief (VSR) is widely used on large welded fabrications to stabilize the structures so that they do not distort during further machining or during operational duty.

Direct observation of a uniaxial stress-driven Lifshitz transition in Sr2RuO4 [PDF]

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials, 2019
Pressure represents a clean tuning parameter for traversing the complex phase diagrams of interacting electron systems, and as such has proved of key importance in the study of quantum materials.

Mapping Stress and healthy balance with the workable ranges model in mindfulness-based stress reduction: First-person embodied reflections [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
During Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses, participants are taught to be more present with stressful experience in order to respond to it more effectively.

Mathematical modelling of stress-strain state of steel-concrete beams with combined reinforcement

open access: yesProduction Engineering Archives, 2023
Most of the modern computer software for the building structures‘ calculation is based on mathematical dependencies which make it possible to analyse rather complex stress-strain state of structures subjected to loading.

Stress/temperature phase diagrams as a tool for shape memory alloy selection and processing

open access: yes, 2001
One of the difficulties of applying shape memory alloys to real applications is dealing with how applied stress affects the transformation temperatures and phase sequence.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

INTEGRAL PARAMETERS OF CONCRETE DIAGRAMS FOR CALCULATIONS OF STRENGTH OF REINFORCED CONCRETE ELEMENTS USING THE DEFORMATION MODEL

open access: yesInternational Journal for Computational Civil and Structural Engineering, 2020
In accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents, restrictions are introduced on stress levels at the end of the falling branch of the diagrams at the maximum normalized strain values.

The triangular stress diagram; a graphical representation of crustal stress measurements [PDF]

open access: yesProfessional Paper, 1984
A new graphical method is introduced that facilitates the representation and interpretation of the generally anisotropic in situ states-ofstress measured in rocks. The purpose of the method is to clearly and easily display these stress states, each measured in terms of three values, in two-dimensional space; this is done by projecting three-dimensional
