3D MODELING OF STRESS FIELDS IN MILLING [PDF]
Given the complexity of the physical phenomena present in machining, orthogonal cutting was the most exploited configuration in the analytical modelling of cutting.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A Review of Numerical Simulation Tools for Coupling Earth’s Interior and Lithospheric Stress Fields
As a bridge connecting processes in the Earth’s interior and the superficial lithosphere, distribution characteristics of global stress fields could benefit the verification of geodynamical models and reflect spatial variations of lithospheric strength ...

Hybrid-equilibrium elements with control of spurious kinematic modes
A review is presented of a recent formulation of hybrid-equilibrium elements for modelling planar structural problems. The formulation is based on the use of polynomials of general degree to approximate internal stress fields and bounding side ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Regional stress field of the Indian Plate
We have calculated the regional stress field in the Indian plate, implementing dependence of slab pull and ridge push on the age of the oceanic lithosphere in the finite element procedure. The high level of the calculated stress field (order of a few kbar) and the dominance of compression in the plate are consequences of the unique dynamic situation of

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Self-Organization of Polymeric Fluids in Strong Stress Fields
Analysis of literature data and our own experimental observations have led to the conclusion that, at high deformation rates, viscoelastic liquids come to behave as rubbery materials, with strong domination by elastic deformations over flow.
