Accelerated stress testing for both hardware and software
Accelerated stress testing (AST) has been used in electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systems to achieve robustness with high reliability primarily for hardware. For software products, the reliability program is often conducted separate from any hardware accelerated stress testing.

Software to Stress Test Image Quality Estimators
An image quality estimator (QE) can be used to improve the performance of a system, but only if its scores are easily interpretable. In this paper, we present software, entitled “Stress Testing Image Quality Estimators (STIQE)” that systematically explores the performance of a QE, with the goal of enabling users to interpret the QE's scores.

CHESS: Systematic Stress Testing of Concurrent Software
Concurrency is a fundamental attribute of systems software. Asynchronous computation is the norm in important software components such as operating systems, databases, and web servers. As multi-core architectures find their way into mainstream desktop computers, we are likely to see an increasing use of multithreading in application software as well ...

Accelerated stress testing to detect probabilistic software failures
This paper describes the advantages of accelerated stress testing and addresses the value of accelerated stressing to find probabilistic software failure modes. The value has been widely reported in discovery of traditional hardware-related failure modes, but has not been widely accepted as valuable in finding software errors.

Comparison of hardware based and software based stress testing of memory IO interface
In post-silicon testing and validation of circuit functionality, an effective IO stress pattern can identify bugs quickly and provide adequate test coverage. A lot of work has been done to identify the right stress patterns specific to each IO interface.

Fault‐driven stress testing of distributed real‐time software based on UML models
AbstractIn a previous article, a stress testing methodology was reported to detect network traffic‐related Real‐Time (RT) faults in distributed RT systems based on the design UML model of a System Under Test (SUT). The stress methodology, referred to as Test LOcation‐driven Stress Testing (TLOST), aimed at increasing the chances of RT failures ...

Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) Flight Software stress testing: Case study and lessons learned
This paper presents a case study of the Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) mission Command and Data Handling (C&DH) Flight Software stress testing program. Background information on the motivation for stress testing embedded software, and the general principles and goals of a stress test are provided as an introduction.

The aim of this project is stress testing of the system for data management and planning of the operations developed for home care agencies which has to be upgrading of the current system based on the older database of Microsoft Access product. The part of the system is a mobile application that allows employees to edit the records of patients directly

Coping with test stress: Microcomputer software for treatment of test anxiety
Test anxiety, described as "the most virulent impediment to effective role functioning in an educational setting" (Myers, R. A. 1986, Research on educational and vocational counseling; Handbook of Psychotherapy and Behavior Change, pp. 728), is readily treatable through use of relaxation and desensitization strategies.
