Different Amounts of Added Litter Do Not Affect Long‐Term Carbon Mineralization and Stabilization in Topsoils and Subsoils

open access: yesJournal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Over half of global soil organic carbon (SOC) stocks are stored in subsoil. A larger fraction of carbon (C) input may be retained and stabilized in subsoil as compared to topsoil. This retained fraction determines C sequestration efficiency, which may also depend on the amount of C input.

Navigating the Twin Transformation: How Digitalization and Sustainability Shape the Future

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Amid growing societal and scholarly interest in the interplay between sustainability transformation (ST) and digital transformation (DT), this study conducts a systematic literature review to advance the understanding of twin transformation (TT). Analyzing 65 peer‐reviewed articles, this review makes three key contributions: (1) It synthesizes

Covariant string field theory. II

Physical Review D, 1986
The covariant string field theory is presented in its full detail for the closed-bosonic-string case. The properties of the interaction vertex of three closed strings are fully clarified. We thus establish the nilpotency of the full nonlinear Becchi-Rouet-Stora (BRS) transformation as well as the BRS invariance of our gauged-fixed action.

String Field Theory

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1987
String theory has emerged as the leading candidate for a unified field theory of all known forces. However, it is impossible to trust the various phenomenological predictions of superstring theory based on classical solutions alone. It appears that the crucial problem of the theory, breaking ten dimensional space-time down to four dimensions, must be ...
