SOX30 Governs Synaptonemal Complex Assembly and Homologous Recombination in Male Meiosis
The transcription factor SOX30 directly binds promoter regions of SYCE1 and SYCE2 to mediate their transcriptional activation, thereby enabling proper assembly of central elements within the synaptonemal complex. Structural destabilisation of the synaptonemal complex in Sox30 KK spermatocytes triggers synaptic discontinuity, impairs homologous ...

Anomaly inflow and gauge group topology in the 10d Sugimoto string theory
We revisit the chiral spectra on charged 1- and 5-branes in the 10d non-supersymmetric sp 16 $$ \mathfrak{sp}(16) $$ string theory (also known as the Sugimoto model), and verify that they consistently cancel the anomaly inflow induced by a Green-Schwarz ...

BOLL‐Containing Aggregates Mediate the Translational Regulation During Human Oogenesis
This work elucidates that BOLL‐containing aggregate‐mediated translational control is essential for human oogenesis. These aggregates recruit PABPC1 and FXR1 to activate the translation of U‐rich mRNAs encoding cell cycle proteins, thereby ensuring successful meiotic progression.

ABSTRACT Aim The dental pulp is an immunologically active tissue that responds dynamically to cariogenic challenge. Peripheral pulp cells adjacent to dentine encounter bacterial stimuli earlier than cells located in the central pulp. To investigate signalling and immune interactions, this study profiled the transcriptomes of dentine‐adherent cells ...

Multi‐Omics Insights Into Anthraquinone Biosynthesis in Rheum tanguticum
ABSTRACT Rheum tanguticum is renowned for its medicinal properties, including purgative, anti‐inflammatory and hepatoprotective effects, primarily attributed to anthraquinones (AQs). However, the molecular mechanisms of AQs biosynthesis have largely been hindered by insufficient genomic resources and functional genomics investigations.

Abstract figure legend Beat‐locked mitochondrial ATP transients reveal modular, sex‐specific bioenergetic control during excitation–contraction coupling. A, each action potential activates L‐type CaV1.2 channels, producing a Ca2+ influx that triggers ryanodine receptors (RyR2) and elicits SR Ca2+ release.

ABSTRACT This review examines the application of machine learning (ML) in physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling through improved prediction of input parameters, particularly via quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) models, for absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) properties across drug development ...

An Ecosystem to Develop Multi‐Agent Systems in Real‐World IoT Applications
ABSTRACT Software agents and multi‐agent systems are critical components in the development of distributed autonomous systems, as they exhibit a wide range of “intelligence,” from reactive behaviors to advanced reasoning and planning. Integrating these capabilities into multi‐agent systems enables distributed artificial intelligence, a programming ...

Abstract Background and Purpose Gene regulation is frequently altered in diseases in unique and patient‐specific ways. Hence, personalised strategies have been proposed to infer patient‐specific gene‐regulatory networks. However, existing methods do not scale well because they often require recomputing the entire network per sample.
