String topology in three flavors [PDF]
We describe two major string topology operations, the Chas–Sullivan product and the Goresky–Hingston coproduct, from geometric and algebraic perspectives. The geometric construction uses Thom–Pontrjagin intersection theory while the algebraic construction is phrased in terms of Hochschild homology.

Adaptive radial basis function sliding mode control for platoons under DoS attacks
This paper proposes an adaptive sliding mode control based on an auxiliary distance sensor for nonlinear platoons over vehicular ad‐hoc networks under Denial‐of‐Services (DoS) attacks and external disturbances.

Topological string entanglement [PDF]
Abstract We investigate how topological entanglement of Chern-Simons theory is captured in a string theoretic realization. Our explorations are motivated by a desire to understand how quantum entanglement of low energy open string degrees of freedom is encoded in string theory (beyond the oft discussed classical gravity limit ...

We use the computational power of rational homotopy theory to provide an explicit cochain model for the loop product and the string bracket of a 1-connected closed manifold M . We prove that the loop homology of

Topological amplitudes in string theory [PDF]
We show that certain type II string amplitudes at genus $g$ are given by the topological partition function $F_g$ discussed recently by Bershadsky, Cecotti, Ooguri and Vafa. These amplitudes give rise to a term in the four-dimensional effective action of the form $\sum_g F_g W^{2g}$, where $W$ is the chiral superfield of $N=2$ supergravitational ...

Classical Hamiltonian time crystals–general theory and simple examples
We focus on a Hamiltonian system with a continuous symmetry, and dynamics that takes place on a presymplectic manifold. We explain how the symmetry can become spontaneously broken by a time crystal, that we define as the minimum of the available ...

Schwinger-type parametrization of open string worldsheets
A parametrization of (super) moduli space near the corners corresponding to bosonic or Neveu–Schwarz open string degenerations is introduced for worldsheets of arbitrary topology.

Open minimal strings and open Gelfand-Dickey hierarchies
We study the connection between minimal Liouville string theory and generalized open KdV hierarchies. We are interested in generalizing Douglas string equation formalism to the open topology case. We show that combining the results of the closed topology,

Topological Strings and Integrable Hierarchies [PDF]
We consider the topological B-model on local Calabi-Yau geometries. We show how one can solve for the amplitudes by using W-algebra symmetries which encodes the symmetries of holomorphic diffeomorphisms of the Calabi-Yau. In the highly effective fermionic/brane formulation this leads to a free fermion description of the amplitudes. Furthermore we argue
