A Modularized Discharge-Type Balancing Topology for Series-Connected Super Capacitor String

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
This paper proposed a modularized discharge-type topology for the voltage balance of series-connected super capacitor (SC) string. The proposed topology consists of cascaded converter modules and a boost converter.

Intelligent Maintenance Review for Robots: Multimodal Information, Deep Diagnosis and Embodied Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This review maps the methods to monitor robots’ health by fusing vibration, sound, control signals, vision, force, and oil information with artificial intelligence. It identifies deep learning, transfer learning, digital twins, and physics‐informed models as key methodological pathways enabling earlier diagnosis, safer human–robot collaboration, and ...

Topological defects in low-energy string gravity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Cosmologists are interested in topological defects as a possible source for the primordial density perturbations which seeded structure formation through gravitational instability.

Holomorphic Yukawa couplings in heterotic string theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
This thesis is concerned with heterotic E8 ×E8 string models that can produce quasirealistic N = 1 supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model in the low-energy limit. We start rather generally by deriving the four-dimensional spectrum and Lagrangian

Higher T-duality in M-theory via local supersymmetry

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
By analyzing super-torsion and brane super-cocycles, we derive a new duality in M-theory, which takes the form of a higher version of T-duality in string theory.

TOPOLOGICAL STRINGS ON NONCOMMUTATIVE MANIFOLDS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, 2004
We identify a deformation of the N=2 supersymmetric sigma model on a Calabi–Yau manifold X which has the same effect on B-branes as a noncommutative deformation of X. We show that for hyperkähler X such deformations allow one to interpolate continuously between the A-model and the B-model.

A Toolkit for Targeted Neuromodulation of Striatal Direct Pathway Neurons Rescues Parkinsonian Motor Deficits in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An adeno‐associated virus (AAV) toolkit enables selective anatomical and functional targeting of striatal D1‐MSNs through retrograde transduction. Enhanced capsids and engineered enhancers drive robust transgene expression across murine and primate models.

The Interpretation of String Dualities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Many of the advances in string theory have been generated by the discovery of new duality symmetries connecting what were once thought to be distinct theories, solu- tions, processes, backgrounds, and more.
