Crystal Growth Engineering for Dendrite‐Free Zinc Metal Plating
This research employed the rare‐earth ion dysprosium (Dy) to modulate aqueous zinc (Zn) metal plating. Integrated multiscale experiments and computational modeling unveiled the preferential adsorption of Dy on specific crystal facets, which activated screw dislocation‐driven Zn growth.

A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.

This study explores iodine substitution in solid electrolytes to overcome sluggish redox kinetics and poor charge transport in all‐solid‐state Li‐S batteries. The resulting iodine‐rich, amorphous phase and superionic, nanocrystalline domains enable effective redox mediation and provide a robust ionic percolation network.

New Strip Theory Approach to Ship Motions Prediction
This paper describes the development of strip theory to predict quickly with sufficient accuracy ship motions in wave taking into account nonlinear effects caused by interactions ship-wave. Recently, many ship design tools are available, however a quick tool is still needed to use in preliminary design stage.
