Comparison of the folded stripline and stacked stripline concepts to the folded waveguide launcher [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 1994
Two new concepts are being developed as possible upgrades to the folded waveguide launcher. The folded stripline is a folded waveguide with an additional conductor positioned inside. The term stripline refers to the resemblance of the design to microwave microstrip line.

k‐Selective Electrical‐to‐Magnon Transduction with Finite‐Element‐Resolved Sub‐Micron Nanoantennas

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 6, June 2026.
We introduce a coupled finite‐element‐finite‐difference framework that links impedance‐matched nanoantenna geometries to propagating spin‐wave dynamics, capturing skin effects, proximity effects, and taper leakage beyond uniform‐current models. Applied to coplanar‐waveguide and stripline nanoantennas on yttrium‐iron‐garnet, the simulations achieve ...

Compact Multi-Beamforming Networks Based on Generalized Joined Coupler Matrix With Flexible Beam Angles and Low Sidelobe Levels

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation
The investigation of beamforming networks (BFNs) for multibeam antenna arrays has been ongoing for decades. However, enabling individually controllable multibeams employing a BFN has remained a recognizable challenge.

Characteristic impedance of stripline

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1987
In the letter a simple correction for the influence of the strip thickness on the characteristic impedance of stripline is proposed. This correction is intended for use with Wheeler's formula for characteristic impedance. The thickness correction is independent of strip width and thus has to be calculated only once.

Coupling Nanostructured Plasmon–Strain Microwave Waveguide to Spin Defects in Hexagonal Boron Nitride for High‐Sensitivity Quantum Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 24, 27 April 2026.
Coupling of spin‐active VB−$V_B^ - $ defects in hBN with alumina‐coated gold plasmonic nanoresonators (PNRs), integrated into a microwave‐efficient waveguide, constitutes a plasmon‐strain architecture that enhances their photoluminescence and spin contrast. This platform enables a tenfold quantum yield improvement and achieves a DC magnetic sensitivity

Wave‐Based Quasi‐digital Logic Operations

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
Electromagnetic (EM) wave‐based computing has emerged as an exciting new paradigm. Conventional logic operations such as AND, OR, and XOR are inherently nonlinear processes. In this work, we discuss how one may emulate the functionality of logic gates by using quasi‐digital linear systems.

Raman Microspectroscopy for Structural Indication in Ultrafast Laser Writing

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 8, 22 April 2026.
Raman microspectroscopy is demonstrated as an in situ, phase‐specific probe for femtosecond laser fabrication in diamond. Multiple spectral indicators are systematically evaluated and correlated with electrical performance, establishing a robust methodology for process monitoring.
