STRIPLINE KICKER DESIGN FOR NSLS2 STORAGE RING [PDF]
In the NSLS2 storage ring, there are four stripline kickers/pickups. Two long striplines with electrode length of 30cm will be used as bunch-by-bunch transverse feedback actuators. Two short stripline kickers/pickups with 15cm length will mainly used for

Quantifying Spin Defect Density in hBN via Raman and Photoluminescence Analysis
An all‐optical method is presented for quantifying the density of boron vacancy spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). By correlating Raman and photoluminescence signals with irradiation fluence, defect‐induced Raman modes are identified and established an relationship linking optical signatures to absolute defect densities. This enables direct

Self‐Assembled Fluorescent Nanodiamond Layers for Quantum Imaging
We developed a simple, scalable method for coating surfaces with fluorescent nanodiamonds. By optimizing the coating process, we created uniform, dense layers that enable high‐resolution magnetic imaging using the nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) center in nanodiamonds. This approach enables the development of cost‐effective quantum‐sensing and imaging substrates

Cellulose‐Nanofiber‐Based Layered Sub‐Terahertz Absorbing Sheets for B5G/6G Applications
We report a sub‐terahertz absorber made of biodegradable cellulose‐nanofiber (CNF), potentially useful for B5G/6G devices to achieve electromagnetic compatibility in an eco‐friendly way. The absorber is 120 µm thick and consists of two carbon‐nanotube‐dispersed CNF layers and one pure CNF layer.

We study the effect of stripline coupling on the damping of magnetostatic modes in an yttrium-iron-garnet sphere. Both the magnetostatic dispersion and line width display a pronounced dependence on the YIG-stripline separation, with the coupling ...

Series-Fed Monopulse Microstrip Array Antenna With Stripline Quadrature Hybrid Comparator Network
Microstrip series-fed weighted arrays have widespread applications in millimeter wave (MMW) radar due to their low profile and light weight. Our study proposes a novel Ka-band compact monopulse radar antenna design with a highly directional 2D series-fed

Exploring Thermal and Mechanical Strains During Laying Down Process in Fused Filament Fabrication
This study analyzes strain evolution and thermal behavior during FFF of PLA using strain gauges and infrared imaging. Microstrain levels depend on printing conditions, with adhesion‐induced compression during cooling and peak strains in early layers. Microtomography shows minimal porosity, while thermal imaging reveals rapid heat penetration, strong ...
