Strong metric dimensions of unicyclic graphs

open access: yesMohyla Mathematical Journal, 2018
Вершина w простого зв’язного графа G сильно роздiляє двi вершини u i v цього графа, якщо виконується одна з двох рiвностей: dG(w, u) = dG(w, v) + dG(v, u) або dG(w, v) = dG(w, u) + dG(u, v). Множина S найменшої потужностi, елементи якої сильно роздiляють довiльну пару вершин графа G, називається сильним метричним базисом графа G.

Strong metric dimension of generalized Jahangir graph

open access: yes, 2019
Let $G$ be a simple and connected graph with vertex set $V(G)$. A vertex $w\in V(G)$ strongly resolves two vertices $u,v \in V(G)$ if $v$ belongs to a shortest $u-w$ path or $u$ belongs to a shortest $v-w$ path. A set $W \subseteq V(G)$ is a strong resolving set for $G$ if every pair of vertices of $G$ is strongly resolved by some vertex of $W$.

The Forcing Strong Metric Dimension of a Graph

open access: yesContributions to Discrete Mathematics, 2017
For any two vertices u, v in a connected graph G, the interval I(u, v) consists of all vertices which are lying in some u − v shortest path in G. A vertex x in a graph G strongly resolves a pair of vertices u, v if either u ∈ I(x, v) or v ∈ I(x, u). A set of vertices W of V (G) is called a strong resolving set if every pair of vertices of G is strongly

Strong topology on the set of persistence diagrams

open access: yes, 2019
We endow the set of persistence diagrams with the strong topology (the topology of countable direct limit of increasing sequence of bounded subsets considered in the bottleneck distance). The topology of the obtained space is described.

Financial Burden Associated With Hospitalisation Among Families of Childhood Brain Tumours in Australia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

Understanding of Depressive Symptomatology across Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder: A Network Analysis

open access: yesMedicina, 2023
Background and Objectives: Depressive symptoms are prominent in both major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorder (BD). However, comparative research on the network structure of depressive symptoms in these two diagnostic groups has been limited.

A Modern Approach for Classification of Soil Aggregates based on Stereo Vision [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural Machinery, 2020
IntroductionStereo vision is an approach to 3D information from multiple 2D views of a scene. The 3D information can be extracted from a pair image, as known stereo pair by estimating the relative depth of points in the scene.Soil aggregate size ...

Stability for the lens rigidity problem

open access: yes, 2017
Let $g$ be a Riemannian metric for $\mathbf{R}^d$ ($d\geq 3$) which differs from the Euclidean metric only in a smooth and strictly convex bounded domain $M$.

Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.
