Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,

Product Operations on Pythagorean Co-Neutrosophic Graphs and its Application [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
Pythagorean Co-Neutrosophic Graphs (PyCNGs) have newly emerged after the foundation of Pythagorean fuzzy graph and Co-neutrosophic graphs, where the membership of indeterminacy(uncertain) is independent and membership of truth(existence) & false(non ...

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Functional Connectivity Linked to Cognitive Recovery After Minor Stroke

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Patients with minor stroke exhibit slowed processing speed and generalized alterations in functional connectivity involving frontoparietal cortex (FPC). The pattern of connectivity evolves over time. In this study, we examine the relationship of functional connectivity patterns to cognitive performance, to determine ...

Ricci Curvature of Strong Product Graphs

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics
We establish for the first time the explicit curvature formulas for the horizontal and vertical edges of the strong product of two regular graphs. We complement this result with showing that there does not exist an analogous formula for the curvatures of diagonal edges except for a special case, and providing a sharp lower bound for them in terms of ...

Energy of Strong Product of Multipartite Graphs

open access: yes, 2023
Let be a finite and simple graph. The energy, of is defined as the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of . In this article, we study the energy of strong products of multipartite graphs. Also we obtain examples of energy for these graphs.

In‐Depth Profiling Highlights the Effect of Efgartigimod on Peripheral Innate and Adaptive Immune Cells in Myasthenia Gravis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by antibody‐mediated complement activation. Efgartigimod, a neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) antagonist, is approved for treating generalized MG (gMG). However, its modulatory effects on upstream innate and adaptive immune cells remain largely unexplored.

1-factorisation of the Composition of Regular Graphs

open access: yes, 1983
1-factorability of the composition of graphs is studied. The followings sufficient conditions are proved: $G[H]$ is 1-factorable if $G$ and $H$ are regular and at least one of the following holds: (i) Graphs $G$ and $H$ both contain a 1-factor, (ii) $G ...
