Strong Solutions of Brusselator System
Malaysian Journal of Mathematical SciencesThe study involves a mathematical analysis of the Brusselator system on a convex bounded three-dimensional open domain, considering Neumann boundary conditions. We establish the global existence and uniqueness of the strong solution for this system. Achieving high regularity for the strong solution requires stringent conditions on the initial data. The

THE CONDUCTANCES OF STRONG SOLUTIONS OF STRONG ELECTROLYTES AT 95°
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1952Measurements of conductance and fluidity of silver nitrate and of ammonium nitrate solutions, over a range of concentration varying from 0.05 N to 14 N (silver nitrate) and from 0.08 N to 15 N (ammonium nitrate) have been made. In both cases, a maximum is observed in the specific conductances but in neither case does a minimum occur in the plot of

Strong solution for an elastic-plastic plate
Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, 1994This paper is concerned with a new type of minimization problem encountered, for example, in the study of perfectly plastic plate behaviour. It is required to minimize a functional over all pairs \((K,u)\), where \(K\) is a closed set in \(\mathbb{R}^ 2\) and \(u\) is a scalar- valued function which represents the transverse plate displacement.

Strong Solutions for Generalized Newtonian Fluids
Journal of Mathematical Fluid Mechanics, 2005We consider the motion of a generalized Newtonian fluid, where the extra stress tensor is induced by a potential with p-structure (p = 2 corresponds to the Newtonian case). We focus on the three dimensional case with periodic boundary conditions and extend the existence result for strong solutions for small times from

Existence of Strong Solutions to a Fluid-Structure System
SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2011We study a coupled fluid-structure system. The structure corresponds to a part of the boundary of a domain containing an incompressible viscous fluid.
