Strong Stability Preserving Multistage Integration Methods
In this paper we systematically investigate explicit strong stability preserving (SSP) multistage integration methods, a subclass of general linear methods (GLMs), of order p and stage order q ≤ p.

Strong stability and host specific bacterial community in faeces of ponies. [PDF]
The horse, as a hindgut fermenter, is reliant on its intestinal bacterial population for efficient diet utilisation. However, sudden disturbance of this population can result in severe colic or laminitis, both of which may require euthanasia.

Organic Electro-Optic Materials with High Electro-Optic Coefficients and Strong Stability [PDF]
The preparation of high-performance electro-optical materials is one of the key factors determining the application of optoelectronic communication technology such as 5G communication, radar detection, terahertz, and electro-optic modulators.

Relative set theory: Strong stability
GRIST is an axiomatic framework for nonstandard set theory with many "levels of standardness." The paper establishes a number of general consequences of GRIST, in particular, a very strong form of Transfer principle. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification 26E35 (primary); 03E70, 03H05 (sec- ondary) This is the last in a series of three articles ...

An Improved Estimation Algorithm of Space Targets Pose Based on Multi-Modal Feature Fusion
The traditional estimation methods of space targets pose are based on artificial features to match the transformation relationship between the image and the object model.

We study maximal $K_{r+1}$-free graphs $G$ of almost extremal size—typically, $e(G)=\operatorname{ex}(n,K_{r+1})-O(n)$. We show that any such graph $G$ must have a large amount of `symmetry': in particular, all but very few vertices of $G$ must have twins.

Decentralized Strong Stabilization Problem [PDF]
In the decentralized strong stabilization problem for linear time-invariant finite-dimensional systems, the objective is to stabilize a given plant using a stable decentralized controller. A solvability condition for this problem is given in terms of a parity interlacing property which is to be satisfied among the real unstable poles and real unstable ...

MPCC: Strong Stability of M-stationary Points [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper we study the class of mathematical programs with complementarity constraints MPCC. Under the Linear Independence constraint qualification MPCC-LICQ we state a topological as well as an equivalent algebraic characterization for the strong stability (in the sense of Kojima) of an M-stationary point for MPCC.

Similarity Classes in the Eight-Tetrahedron Longest-Edge Partition of a Regular Tetrahedron
A tetrahedron is called regular if its six edges are of equal length. It is clear that, for an initial regular tetrahedron R0, the iterative eight-tetrahedron longest-edge partition (8T-LE) of R0 produces an infinity sequence of tetrahedral meshes, τ0 ...

Polynomial stability of the wave equation with distributed delay term on the dynamical control
Using the frequency domain approach, we prove the rational stability for a wave equation with distributed delay on the dynamical control, after establishing the strong stability and the lack of uniform stability.
