Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. NUMERICAL STUDY OF THE INTERFACE TRACKING WITH STRONG SHOCK
when the material interface received strong impact, the large gradient zone or mutations of the pressure and velocity will appear on both sides, and in this case, the numerical simulation has become extremely difficult.

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

How strong are the Southern Hemisphere storm tracks?
The real strength of the Southern Hemisphere (SH) storm tracks is poorly known, as the NCEP‐NCAR and ECMWF reanalyses differ significantly in this measure. In this work, the COSMIC GPS radio occultation dataset is used to investigate this issue. The ratio of the strength of the SH storm tracks to that in the Northern Hemisphere (NH) based on the COSMIC

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

A Strong Maneuvering Target-Tracking Filtering Based on Intelligent Algorithm
In this paper, a variable-structure multimodel (VSMM) filtering algorithm based on the long short-term memory (LSTM) regression-deep Q network (L-DQN) is proposed to accurately track strong maneuvering targets.
