Locking control of underground signal lights based on improved Kalman filter and state observer

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua
During underground ramp transportation in non-coal mines, traditional signal light locking control method is ineffective due to insufficient UWB dynamic positioning accuracy, long sampling interval of vehicle positioning cards, and data loss.

Magnetic Force Microscopy Signatures of Higher‐Order Skyrmions and Antiskyrmions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic force microscopy operated under vacuum conditions enables the qualitative identification of higher‐order skyrmions and antiskyrmions in Co/Ni multilayers at room temperature. Distinct stray‐field contrast signatures arise from vertical Bloch lines and complex domain‐wall configurations.

Strengthening Lattice Kalman Filters: Introducing Strong Tracking Lattice Filtering for Enhanced Robustness

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work develops a novel formulation of the lattice Kalman filter (LKF) for enhanced robustness. This novel approach initially integrates the concept of sliding innovation to refine the measurement update phase of the LKF, ensuring that the filter’s innovation is constrained within predetermined bounds; the resultant robust filter is ...

Deciphering Small Molecule Diffusion Parameters Across Light Responsive Polymersome Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive polymersomes bearing donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASAs) enable programmable control over small‐molecule transport across synthetic membranes. By systematically varying DASA density, an optimal functionalization regime is identified that maximizes light‐gated permeability.

Strain‐Programmable Luminescent Adhesive Patch With Tartrazine‐Mediated Optical Skin Clearing for Photochemical Tissue Bonding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,
