Carbon and Strontium Abundances of Metal-Poor Stars [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2007
We present carbon and strontium abundances for 100 metal-poor stars measured from R$\sim $7000 spectra obtained with the Echellette Spectrograph and Imager at the Keck Observatory. Using spectral synthesis of the G-band region, we have derived carbon abundances for stars ranging from [Fe/H]$=-1.3$ to [Fe/H]$=-3.8$.

Technology of synthesis and electronic structure of triple barium–strontium–calcium carbonates for cathodes of microwave devices

open access: diamondРоссийский технологический журнал, 2022
Objectives. Triple barium–strontium–calcium carbonates of various grades are widely used for depositing oxide coatings on cathodes of electrovacuum devices. Of all types of cathodes used in electrovacuum devices, oxide cathodes are among the most common,

Surface complexation model for strontium sorption to amorphous silica and goethite [PDF]

open access: yesGeochemical Transactions, 2008
Strontium sorption to amorphous silica and goethite was measured as a function of pH and dissolved strontium and carbonate concentrations at 25°C. Strontium sorption gradually increases from 0 to 100% from pH 6 to 10 for both phases and requires multiple

Strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium carbonate as templates for the precipitation of calcium-phosphates in the absence and presence of fluoride [PDF]

open access: greenJournal of Crystal Growth, 2014
The heterogeneous precipitation of calcium phosphates on calcium hydroxyapariLe (Ca-10(PO4)(4)OH)(2) or HAP) in the presence arid absence of fluoride is important in the formation of bone and teeth, protection against tooth decay, dental and skeletal fluorosis and defluoridaLion of drinking wafer.
