Flexocatalytic Hydrogen Generation and Organics Degradation by Nano SrTiO3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Flexocatalysis, driven by non‐uniform strain‐induced electric polarization, overcomes piezocatalysis limitations, enabling versatile mechano‐catalytic applications. This study highlights the flexocatalytic activity of STO nanopowders, achieving significant hydrogen evolution (1289.53 µmol g−1 h−1) and ≈94% dye degradation.

Global geochemical problems [PDF]

open access: yes
Application of remote sensing techniques to the solution of geochemical problems is considered with emphasis on the 'carbon-cycle'. The problem of carbon dioxide sinks and the areal extent of coral reefs are treated. In order to assess the problems cited

A Phase‐Separated SR Protein Reprograms Host Pre‐mRNA Splicing to Enhance Disease Susceptibility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies SR30, a splicing factor, as a negative regulator of tomato immunity. During Phytophthora infestans infection, the elevated SR30 forms nuclear condensates to suppress the alternative splicing (AS) of defense‐related genes in a phase separation manner.

Superior‐Selective and Complete Recycling of Trace Precious Metals From Wastewater by Magnetic Trilayer Carbon‐Aerogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Carbon aerogels embedded with magnetic Fe@FeS@C nanoparticles are fabricated to achieve a rapid and ultra‐highly selective recovery of the precious metals Abstract It is a considerable challenge to selectively recycle precious metals from industrial wastewater and natural waters.

Polyaspartic Acid‐Calcium‐Lanthanum Complexes Induce Antibacterial Remineralization of Dentin and In‐Depth Occlusion of Dentinal Tubules

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polyaspartic acid‐calcium‐lanthanum (PAsp‐Ca‐La) complexes could induce antibacterial remineralization of demineralized dentin and in‐depth occlusion of dentinal tubules (DTs) with lanthanum‐doped hydroxyapatite (La‐HAp) via polyelectrolyte‐cation complexes pre‐precursor (PCCP) process, allowing the release of La3+ in response to acids generated by ...

Responsive ROS‐Augmented Prodrug Hybridization Nanoassemblies for Multidimensionally Synergitic Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Cascade Assaults

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a novel HCC therapy using CA‐4S2@ES‐Cu nanomedicines to amplify cuproptosis, enhancing chemotherapy and immunotherapy. CA‐4 and ES‐Cu synergistically inhibit tumor growth, induce immune responses, and reverse the immunosuppressive microenvironment, offering an effective multidimensional therapeutic strategy for HCC treatment ...
