Surface of Strontium Titanate [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2007
We report the first complete determination, using surface x-ray diffraction, of the surface structure of TiO2-terminated SrTiO3(001), both at room temperature in vacuum, and also hot, under typical conditions used for thin film growth. The cold structure consists of a mixture of a (1x1) relaxation and (2x1) and (2x2) reconstructions.

Selective strontium adsorption using synthesized sodium titanate in aqueous solution

open access: yesRSC Advances, 2022
Amorphous sodium titanates were synthesized using a mid-temperature sol–gel method for evaluation as selective adsorbents of strontium in the presence of cesium or metal cations (Al3+, Mg2+, Ca2+, and Mn2+) from aqueous solution.

Surface magnetism of strontium titanate [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2016
SrTiO3 plays a central role in oxide electronics. It is the substrate of choice for functional oxide heterostructures based on perovskite-structure thin-film stacks, and its surface or interface with a polar oxide such as LaAlO3 can become a two-dimensional conductor because of electronic reconstruction or the presence of oxygen defects.

Ferroelectric and Dielectric Properties of Strontium Titanate Doped with Barium

open access: yesMagnetism, 2021
Ferroelectric samples Sr1−xBaxTiO3 (BST), where x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1, were prepared using the tartrate precursor method and annealed at 1200 °C for 2 h. X-ray diffraction, “XRD”, pattern analysis verified the structure phase.

Oxygen vacancies in strontium titanate: A DFT+DMFT study [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
We address the long-standing question of the nature of oxygen vacancies in strontium titanate, using a combination of density functional theory and dynamical mean-field theory (DFT+DMFT) to investigate in particular the effect of vacancy-site ...

Resistive switching and optical properties of strontium ferrate titanate thin film prepared via chemical solution deposition

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Ceramics, 2021
The polycrystalline strontium ferrate titanate (SrFe0.1Ti0.9O3, SFTO) thin films have been successfully prepared by chemical solution method. By analyzing the current-voltage (I–V) characteristics, we discuss the conduction mechanism of SFTO. It is found
