Perceived corporate credibility as the emergent property of corporate reputation’s transmission process [PDF]

open access: yes
Starting from the analysis of corporate reputation construct, this research focuses on the emergent property of corporate reputation process that results from individual corporate image’s transmission within a informal network where various actors ...

Controlled exploration of chemical space by machine learning of coarse-grained representations

open access: yes, 2019
The size of chemical compound space is too large to be probed exhaustively. This leads high-throughput protocols to drastically subsample and results in sparse and non-uniform datasets.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Structure–property relationships in dicyanopyrazinoquinoxalines and their hydrogen-bonding-capable dihydropyrazinoquinoxalinedione derivatives

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry
Presented here is the design, synthesis, and study of a variety of novel hydrogen-bonding-capable π-conjugated N-heteroacenes, 1,4-dihydropyrazino[2,3-b]quinoxaline-2,3-diones (DPQDs).

Development of Structure–Property Relationships for Ammonium Transport through Charged Organogels

open access: yesMembranes
Ammonia is a promising carbon-free fuel, but current methods to produce ammonia are energy intensive. New methods are thereby needed, with one promising method being electrochemical nitrogen reduction cells.

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Hetero-polycyclic aromatic systems: A data-driven investigation of structure–property relationships

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry
Polycyclic aromatic systems (PASs) are pervasive compounds that have a substantial impact in chemistry and materials science. Although their specific structure–property relationships hold the key to the design of new functional molecules, a detailed ...

Optical selection rules of graphene nanoribbons

open access: yes, 2011
Optical selection rules for one-dimensional graphene nanoribbons are analytically studied and clarified based on the tight-binding model. A theoretical explanation, through analyzing the velocity matrix elements and the features of wavefunctions, can ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Elucidating Structure-Property relationships for optimization of plate lattice sound absorbers

open access: yesMaterials & Design
To be compatible with mainstream additive manufacturing techniques, plate lattices must be designed with embedded pores to eliminate closed cells and facilitate material removal. Interestingly, these pores also transform the plate lattices into effective
